Courageous Bold overcoming depression

Make overcoming your depression and loneliness a priority.

If you are suffering from depression and loneliness really be tenacious in uncovering knowledge, exercises and ideas that will empower you to overcome depression.

This ‘Overcoming Depression & Loneliness‘ category will evolve over time. I will gradually be adding to it anything that could help overcome or at the very least help cope with depression and loneliness and the feelings associated with them like hopelessness, powerlessness and despair.

Take control and responsibility for your life. You are your own savior. Don’t let the negative way you feel cajole you into being inert. You need to take action.

Keep in mind that if you are suffering from depression in particular and are constantly struggling with it you should really check-in with a professional to get it diagnosed and treated especially if it’s not circumstance-related. Otherwise, your self-treatment may amount to now more than band aid and crutch remedies.

Amy Cuddy talks about how power posing like putting your fists to your side like superman and raising your hands in a V shape like you’ve just won a race can help empower you.
