Justin Timberlake Concert Performances a Crowd Pleaser
Justin Timberlake’s career was launched alongside Britney Spears’ and Christina Aquilera’s on The New Mickey Mouse Club TV show. That would lead to his inclusion into the pop group ‘NSync ushering him into heartthrob territory and a long successful streak with the group.
In 2002, he went solo releasing his own album titled ‘Justified” which went on to sell 7 million copies worldwide. The album received two nods from the Grammy Awards in 2004. Awards were given for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
His second solo album ‘FutureSex/LoveSounds’ also did well debuting on the Billboard chart at No. 1. The lead single, “SexyBack,” did exceptionally well defying all new comers at the No. 1 spot for several weeks in a row.
Justin has collaborated with a number of artists including Black Eyed Peas for “Where is The Love?” Other successful collaborations were with Snoop Dog, Nelly Furtado and Madonna the latter of which had him contributing to several tracks on her album “4 Minutes.”
Justin Timberlake continues to surge on with his 2013 album, ‘The 20/20 Experience,’ which took the album charts by storm.
Justin Timberlake in 2014
The year hasn’t been without its unpleasantries for Justin and his wife Jessica Biel. The European version of Heat magazine published an article claiming that Justin had been unfaithful to his wife. The couple sued and received a comprehensive apology from Bauer Consumer Media, the publishers of the magazine.
Then, of course, there are the multitude of rumors that Justin’s wife Jessica Biel is pregnant! They haven’t yet spoken publicly about it but it will no doubt become apparent if they’re true not soon enough!
Timberlake appeared this year on Michael Jackson’s second posthumous record Xscape and in the music video “Love Never Felt So Good.” The music video was directed by Timberlake and Rich Lee.
Justin Timberlake in Concert 2014 / 2015
Justin has just kicked off the last leg of his The 20/20 Experience World Tour. As you may know it’s to support his third and fourth studio albums, The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2. The tour began on November 6, 2013 in New York City, and is expected to conclude on January 2, 2015 in Las Vegas.
The tour has received a lot of praise. Jim Farber from the New York Daily News described it as a “study in suave ease” and that Timberlake exuded a “sweatless charm.” Hillary Rea from The Inquirer wrote concerning Timberlake’s performance that he “kept the audience not just alert, but hypnotized and hooked throughout a 30 song spectacle…” Sounds good to me!
Tom Ford has been busy creating costumes for the tour. In collaboration with Timberlake more than 600 costumes have been created for Timberlake and his team.
