Multiplayer Games! Two words brimming over with fun, social connection and good times.

Multiplayer games are a fun and exciting way to connect with friends. We’ve been positively spoilt in 2014 with the debut of the Xbox One and the Playstation 4. There are a dazzling array of roles and amazing immersive experiences already available. Battle the enemy in a mech on a futuristic war-torn planet (Titanfall). Become Tyrael, the Archangel of Justice, and smite the threatening enemy horde that approaches (Heroes of the Storm.) Perhaps you would rather be a dragon knight dishing out serious damage on the battlefield (Elder Scrolls Online.)

The experience of multiplayer goes well beyond the roles you take and the games you play, of course. Let’s face it. Playing multiplayer can give our egos a fix that single player campaign mode just can’t hope to deliver :-) Like being the last player standing in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer and competently taking out half of the enemy wave on Platinum while all eyes are on you. Having six gold medals on display after your name for all to see when you return to the lobby. Perhaps the kick you get is taking on the role of a cleric and healing the other members in your team or making sure your squad make it to the extraction zone.

Now-and-then I will be covering hardware, multiplayer and single player games and articles on different aspects of gaming like video game character profiles.
