Heroes Among Us Firefighters putting out fire

There are Heroes Among Us Helping People in a Moment of Need and Safeguarding Them from Harm and Danger

We admire heroes for their courage in coming to the aid of those in dire need. There are the obvious heroes. A fire fighter braving the flames to rescue a young child trapped in a fire. A police officer putting his life on the line to protect a family. Emergency workers toiling in hazardous environments to extract those caught in the rubble. Then there are the unsung heroes who aren’t known to the masses. An elderly woman caring for her husband with advanced dementia. Nuns in a foreign land caring for the very sick. Crusaders pulling the lives of people out of abusive situations. All of them doing something marvelous for other human beings, animals or our environment. This category will be focusing on their inspiring stories.
