Inspiring Performances that go Beyond Our Expectations, Excite Us and are a Joy to Watch

Inspiring performances can blow us away and cause our eyes to open wide and jaws to drop. They can effect us deeply to the point of causing us to change direction in life as well.

In this section I’ve included several inspiring performances that had people up on their feet applauding. I have written a short introduction for the first three of them.

Inspirational Performances: Figure skater Jason Brown’s amazing performance at the 2014 U.S. National Championships. Brown placed third in the short program and first in the free skate. The video of his free skate when viral notching up 4 million hits.

Inspirational Performances: Pavarotti and Nessun Dorma are one of those great combinations in life. The video is of Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma at the 1982 Royal Gala at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Queen Elizabeth and the Queen’s mother were present. He’s in his element and receives rapturous applause from the audience.

Inspirational Performances: Leona Lewis shot to stardom in the third series of The X Factor in 2006. For her audition she sang “Over the Rainbow” and impressed the judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Paula Abdul enough to be placed in the women’s category. Simon Cowell acted as her mentor. She ended up winning the competition with 60% of the public vote (8 million votes were cast).

Jason Brown – Ice Skater

Jason Brown’s flawless performance at the 2014 U.S. National Championships is rewarded with a standing ovation.

Pavarotti – Opera Singer

Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma and Torna a Surriento at the 1982 Royal Gala Concert. After Nessun Dorma he is given a thunderous applause by the audience.

Leona Lewis wows the audience with her rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Water.
